Took the car in for service the day the check engine light came on. They said I'd have to leave the car because it would take a couple of hours. Later they called me to say they wanted to keep the car overnight, and they would call me at 9 AM the next day with the results of their inspection. No phone call. So I called them, could not speak with the service writer who took in the car in spite of several phone calls. I left a message for the service manager to call me. He didn't. So I took another car and drove to the dealership to try and find out what was going on. After a long wait, the service writer finally got around to me. He said they couldn't find anything wrong. I asked why he didn't call me as promised...he said you're not the only customer. He also said there were four cars ahead of me. I reminded him that I had to have been first this morning since I left the car yesterday. He didn't have an answer to that one. I asked why it took so long to perform the inspection, he said they test drove the car. I said it takes 7 hours to test drive a car? The service department could not find the cause of my check engine light. Total waste of time.
