When I first used eHostPros for web and e-mail hosting, they seemed great. There price was low, and for over a year I never had any problems. Then they started to have a lot of server down time, often several hours a week. Their customer support and tech support almost never responded. After one weekend and no server or e-mail for 3 days, they were back online, but my over a years worth of e-mail and my website data was all lost. I keep backups of my web site, but all of my e-mail is housed on their server, in fact they don't offer a way to back up or save your e-mail off line.

I contacted them many times, and they always ignored me. Finally, I got a response from someone who said, "oops, our hard drive crashed and we lost our backups."

I asked for a refund of my remaining balance, and never got a response. I called, and e-mailed and never heard back. I switched companies and pursued a refund through the BBB. They first responded by saying they already worked this out with me, which was not true. The BBB asked them for more information and they never replied.

I recommend you stay away from this hosting company!

This review is exaggerated. This incident is about 3 years old, I am not sure why its posted now. Honestly, customer was responded in time, its tracked on our ticketed system. Our backup policy is same since opened up our business: Our backup service is ran on Saturday of each week, overwrites any of our previous backups made, and only one week of backups are kept. This service is provided to you as a courtesy. eHostPros is not responsible for files and/or data residing on your account. You agree to take full responsibility for files and data transferred and to maintain all appropriate backup of files and data stored on eHostPros servers. Secondly, BBB had our wrong address for past 4 years thus we never got any notification from them. We are sorry you feel this way. We wish you good luck.
