I wish I had read the other (Sheila's) review before I placed an order with Blountys.com as my experience completely mirrors hers! I placed an order on January 8th, 2010, for what were three (3) in stock stuffed animals for my young daughter. The website ensures that in stock orders will ship "same day." On January 11, 2010, the monies were promptly debited from our checking account. Despite repeated (3) emails to Lee@Blountys.com (I am pretty sure this person does not exist) and after trying all BOGUS numbers listed on the website (the 888 number is inoperable and the other number directs you to "full" mailbox where no msg can be left), I still don't have my merchandise - over 2 WEEKS LATER. I also have received NO response to any of my mails.
I finally found an alternate number for Blountys.com LLC - 1-786-363-0930 and a nice gentlemen from the "parent" company took my information and indicated he would pass along the message. I have no hope that this call will be returned and at this point am planning on disputing what I now believe to be a fradulent charge, with my bank.
I believe this company is in some sort of financial trouble and is potentially engaging in some fradulent practices (e.g. collecting monies without sending merchandise) . Stay far away!
