System Mechanic doesn't work. It disabled software and hardware on my PC that was working fine and did not do what it advertises. I tried contacting the advertised 24 customer care/customer service. It doesn't exist, it's a web site that apparently is manned 9-5 and not 24 hours as advertised in the included package inserts. They respond a day later but neither address your questions nor provide you with solutions to fix the problem. They referred me to my Internet provider to resolve my issue which had nothing to do with the problems their software created on my computer. I took it back to Bestbuy, they will not give you a refund even after you explain to them that iolo's customer care/customer service is practically non-existent and unresponsive. You have to go through the iolo website to get your supposed money back guarantee. I will probably have to contest the charges on my credit card against Bestbuy after reading the other reviews on the BBB about their experience with the product and the refund policy. So far it is 100% consistent with the horrible experience of customer service and product uselessness of the reviews on the BBB's web site. Can I give the negative stars? Why do I have to give them stars? They don't deserve a single star thus far. The BBB does not let you post a review if you filed a complaint so that it is not double counted. That means the company may be far worse than the reviews lead on because all the complaints can not post reviews. I'm sure my review will end up removed later once I file my complaint. Funny when I wrote my complaint they had an F Rating with the BBB and somehow they have been upgraded to a B rating but the products have not improved. It still doesn't work, my computer was completely disabled, customer service was non-responsive, unhelpful and inept. BestBuy finally issued the refund after showing the customer service desk and manager the BBB F rating printout. Please restore the F rating!
